The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- This phenomenon, known as electromagnetic induction, is the fundamental operating principle of transformers, inductors, and many types of electric motors, generators and solenoids.
- In the literature, however, Faraday's law is used to refer to two closely related but technically distinct statements, either of which can be used to explain the phenomenon of induced current described above.
- One is the Maxwell–Faraday equation, one of Maxwell's equations, which states that a time-varying magnetic field is always accompanied by a circulating electric field.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Faraday's law of induction article was read about 210,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 75 and blocks with 84: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
How to get Faraday's law of induction
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
