The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Dari is the Afghan government's official term for the Persian language, it is referred to as Afghan Persian or Eastern Persian in many Western sources.
- The decision to rename the local variety of Persian in 1964 was more political than linguistic to support an Afghan state narrative.
- Dari Persian is most closely related to Tajiki Persian as spoken in Tajikistan and the two share many phonological and lexical similarities.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Dari article was read about 220,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 79 and blocks with 80: each hit it takes is cut by 32 %.
How to get Dari
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
