The Flynn effect is the substantial and long-sustained increase in both fluid and crystallized intelligence test scores that were measured in many parts of the world over the 20th century, named after researcher James Flynn.

The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- When intelligence quotient tests are initially standardized using a sample of test-takers, by convention the average of the test results is set to 100 and their standard deviation is set to 15 or 16 IQ points.
- When IQ tests are revised, they are again standardized using a new sample of test-takers, usually born more recently than the first, the average result is set to 100.
- When the new test subjects take the older tests, in almost every case their average scores are significantly above 100.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Flynn effect article was read about 200,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 80 and blocks with 79: each hit it takes is cut by 32 %.
How to get Flynn effect
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
