The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Policies governing this practice are increasingly instituted by funding agencies, academic institutions, and scholarly journals, reflecting the consensus that transparency and openness constitute foundational principles of the scientific method.
- A number of funding agencies and science journals require authors of peer-reviewed papers to share any supplemental information necessary to understand, develop or reproduce published research.
- A great deal of scientific research is not subject to data sharing requirements, and many of these policies have liberal exceptions.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Data sharing article was read about 5,200 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 66 and blocks with 49: each hit it takes is cut by 20 %.
How to get Data sharing
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
