The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- This is a different process from adsorption, since molecules undergoing absorption are taken up by the volume, not by the surface.
- A more common definition is that "Absorption is a chemical or physical phenomenon in which the molecules, atoms and ions of the substance getting absorbed enter into the bulk phase of the material in which it is taken up." A more general term is sorption, which covers absorption, adsorption, and ion exchange.
- Absorption is a condition in which something takes in another substance.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Absorption article was read about 21,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 50 and blocks with 24: each hit it takes is cut by 10 %.
How to get Absorption
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
