Subset, an Uncommon card
In mathematics, a set A is a subset of a set B if and only if all elements of A are also elements of B, B is then a superset of A. It is possible for A and B to be equal, if they are unequal, then A is a proper subset of B. The relationship of one set being a subset of another is called inclusion.

Subset quiz: 3 questions
Three questions on the Subset card, the way WikiCards duels ask them. Pick an answer, the facts are just below.

Answer
expressed. A is a subset of B may also be expressed as B includes A or A is included in B. A k-subset is a subset with k elements. From the Subset article on Wikipedia.

In a duel, each round asks a question like these about the opposing card, with 15 seconds to answer.
The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- A is a subset of B may also be expressed as B includes A or A is included in B. A k-subset is a subset with k elements.
- When quantified, A ⊆ B is represented as ∀ x. One can prove the statement A ⊆ B by applying a proof technique known as the element argument:Let sets A and B be given.
- To prove that A ⊆ B, suppose that a is a particular but arbitrarily chosen element of A show that a is an element of B. The validity of this technique can be seen as a consequence of universal generalization: the technique shows ⇒ for an arbitrarily chosen element c. Universal generalisation then implies ∀ x, which is equivalent to A ⊆ B, as stated above.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Subset article was read about 97,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 58 and blocks with 46: each hit it takes is cut by 18 %.
How to get Subset
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
