The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In its simplest form, it consists of an outer case with mirrors at each end set parallel to each other at a 45° angle.
- This form of periscopic device, with the addition of two simple lenses, served for observation purposes in the trenches during World War I. Military personnel also use periscopes in some gun turrets and in armoured vehicles.
- More complex periscopes using prisms or advanced fiber optics instead of mirrors and providing magnification operate on submarines and in various fields of science.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Periscope article was read about 55,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 64 and blocks with 55: each hit it takes is cut by 22 %.
How to get Periscope
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
