The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Experts of this study, known as numismatists, are often characterized as students or collectors of coins, but the discipline also includes the broader study of money and other means of payment used to resolve debts and exchange goods.
- The earliest forms of money used by people are categorised by collectors as "odd and curious", but the use of other goods in barter exchange is excluded, even where used as a circulating currency.
- As an example, the Kyrgyz people used horses as the principal currency unit, and gave small change in lambskins, the lambskins may be suitable for numismatic study, but the horses are not.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Numismatics article was read about 110,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 61 and blocks with 52: each hit it takes is cut by 21 %.
How to get Numismatics
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
