The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Created by Percival Lafer, a furniture manufacturer, it was a fiberglass-bodied two-seat roadster that took its styling cues from the classic British sports cars of the 1940s and early '50s, with a strong resemblance to the MG T-series and Morgan Plus 4.
- Unlike those, however, its chassis, engine, manual transmission, steering and suspension were from the Volkswagen Beetle.
- Although the stock VW Type 1 four-cylinder made it somewhat underpowered, it became a sought-after car in its time.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The MP Lafer article was read about 4,400 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 40 and blocks with 20: each hit it takes is cut by 8 %.
