The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It consists of: The lacrimal gland, which secretes the tears, and its excretory ducts, which convey the fluid to the surface of the eye, it is a j-shaped serous gland located in lacrimal fossa.
- The lacrimal canaliculi, the lacrimal sac, and the nasolacrimal duct, by which the fluid is conveyed into the cavity of the nose, emptying anterioinferiorly to the inferior nasal conchae from the nasolacrimal duct.
- The innervation of the lacrimal apparatus, which involves both a sympathetic supply through the carotid plexus of nerves around the internal carotid artery, and parasympathetically from the lacrimal nucleus of the facial nerve.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Lacrimal apparatus article was read about 5,900 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 38 and blocks with 13: each hit it takes is cut by 5 %.
