The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It is also popularly known as the Hays Code, after Will H. Hays, president of the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America from 1922 to 1945.
- The code spelled out unacceptable content for motion pictures produced for a public audience in the United States, such as drugs, profanity, and sex.
- Under Hays's leadership, the MPPDA, later the Motion Picture Association of America and the Motion Picture Association, adopted the Production Code in 1930 and began rigidly enforcing it in 1934.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Hays Code article was read about 370,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 78 and blocks with 94: each hit it takes is cut by 38 %.
