The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In April 2008, Reiser was convicted of the first-degree murder of his wife, Nina Reiser, who disappeared in September 2006.
- He subsequently pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of second-degree murder, as part of a settlement agreement that included disclosing the location of Nina Reiser's body, which he revealed to be in a shallow grave near the couple's home.
- Prior to his incarceration, Reiser created the ReiserFS computer file system, which may be used by the Linux kernel but is now removed, as well as its attempted successor, Reiser4.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Hans Reiser article was read about 58,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 71 and blocks with 62: each hit it takes is cut by 25 %.
