The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It is an early machine gun and a forerunner of the modern electric motor-driven rotary cannon.
- The Gatling gun is centered on a cyclic multi-barrel design which facilitated cooling and synchronized the firing-reloading sequence.
- As the handwheel is cranked, the barrels rotate, and each barrel sequentially loads a single cartridge from a top-mounted magazine, fires off the shot when it reaches a set position, then ejects the spent casing out of the left side at the bottom, after which the barrel is empty and allowed to cool until rotated back to the top position and gravity-fed another new round.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Gatling gun article was read about 270,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 75 and blocks with 84: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
