The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Tipler has written books and papers on the Omega Point based on Pierre Teilhard de Chardin's religious ideas, which he claims is a mechanism for the resurrection of the dead.
- He is also known for his theories on the Tipler cylinder time machine.
- His work has attracted criticism from many, for example cosmologist George Ellis, who has argued that his theories are largely pseudoscience.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Frank J. Tipler article was read about 22,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 63 and blocks with 43: each hit it takes is cut by 17 %.
