The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- This type of mount is used for astronomical telescopes and cameras.
- The advantage of an equatorial mount lies in its ability to allow the instrument attached to it to stay fixed on any celestial object with diurnal motion by driving one axis at a constant speed.
- Such an arrangement is called a sidereal drive or clock drive.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Equatorial mount article was read about 18,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 56 and blocks with 47: each hit it takes is cut by 19 %.
