- It was approved by Pope Honorius III via the papal bull Religiosam vitam on 22 December 1216.
- Members of the order, who are referred to as Dominicans, generally display the letters OP after their names, standing for Ordo Praedicatorum, meaning of "the Order of Preachers".
- Membership in the order includes friars, nuns, active sisters, and lay or secular Dominicans, formerly known as tertiaries.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Dominican Order article was read about 280,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 86 and blocks with 84: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
