The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- According to a notice in Nature at the time, it was to be named in honour of Pierre Curie, but was considered at least by some to be in honour of Marie Skłodowska-Curie as well, and is in later literature considered to be named for both.
- In 1910, it was originally defined as "the quantity or mass of radium emanation in equilibrium with one gram of radium".
- In modern terms, 1 curie is the mass of Radon-222 in secular equilibrium with 1 gram of Radium-226.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Curie article was read about 44,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 57 and blocks with 30: each hit it takes is cut by 12 %.
How to get Curie
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
