The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The term was also retrospectively applied to the Baltimore clipper, which originated in the late 18th century.
- Clippers were generally narrow for their length, small by later 19th-century standards, could carry limited bulk freight, and had a large total sail area.
- "Clipper" does not refer to a specific sailplan, clippers may be schooners, brigs, brigantines, etc., as well as full-rigged ships.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Clipper article was read about 130,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 74 and blocks with 78: each hit it takes is cut by 31 %.
