The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It consists of two periods: one during which the heart muscle relaxes and refills with blood, called diastole, following a period of robust contraction and pumping of blood, called systole.
- After emptying, the heart relaxes and expands to receive another influx of blood returning from the lungs and other systems of the body, before again contracting.
- Assuming a healthy heart and a typical rate of 70 to 75 beats per minute, each cardiac cycle, or heartbeat, takes about 0.8 second to complete the cycle.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Cardiac cycle article was read about 91,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 64 and blocks with 68: each hit it takes is cut by 27 %.
