The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The oldest butterfly fossils have been dated to the Paleocene, about 56 million years ago, though molecular evidence suggests that they likely originated in the Cretaceous.
- As holometabolous insects, butterflies undergo complete metamorphosis, meaning that their life cycle comprises four stages.
- Winged adults lay eggs on plant foliage on which their larvae, known as caterpillars, will feed.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Butterfly article was read about 460,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 86 and blocks with 93: each hit it takes is cut by 37 %.
