- In 1981, he was awarded the Right Livelihood Award "for developing and promoting the theory and practice of permaculture".
- Permaculture is an integrated system of ecological and environmental design which Mollison co-developed with David Holmgren and which they envisioned together as a perennial and sustainable form of agriculture.
- In 1974, Mollison began his collaboration with Holmgren and in 1978 they published their book Permaculture One, which introduced this design system to the general public.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Bill Mollison article was read about 14,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 65 and blocks with 46: each hit it takes is cut by 18 %.
