The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It had never previously been reported in the scientific or patent literature, and was first identified by laboratories in Japan in March 2012 as an ingredient in synthetic cannabis smoking blends, along with its indazole derivative APINACA.
- Structurally it closely resembles cannabinoid compounds from patent WO 2003/035005 but with an indole core instead of indazole, and a simple pentyl chain on the indole 1-position.
- Given the known metabolic liberation of amantadine in the related compound APINACA, it is suspected that metabolic hydrolysis of the amide group of APICA may also release amantadine.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The APICA article was read about 3,500 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 49 and blocks with 20: each hit it takes is cut by 8 %.
How to get APICA
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
