The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Zaydism is one of the currently three main branches of Shi'ism, the other two being Twelverism and Ismailism.
- Zaydism is typically considered the Shia branch that is closest to Sunni Islam, although the "classical" form of Zaydism historically changed its stance on Sunni and Shia traditions multiple times, to the point where Zaydis' simply accepting Ali as a rightful successor to Muhammad was enough to consider them Shia.
- Zaydis regard rationalism as more important than Quranic literalism and historically were quite tolerant towards Shafi'i Sunnism, the jurisprudential school of about half of the Yemenis.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Zaydism article was read about 280,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 74 and blocks with 74: each hit it takes is cut by 30 %.
