The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In some usages, the definition of a tree may be narrower, e.g., including only woody plants with secondary growth, only plants that are usable for timber, or only plants above a specified height.
- Wider definitions include taller palms, tree ferns, bananas, and bamboos.
- Trees are not a monophyletic taxonomic group but consist of a wide variety of plant species that have independently evolved a trunk and branches as a way to tower above other plants to compete for sunlight.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Tree article was read about 480,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 89 and blocks with 93: each hit it takes is cut by 37 %.
How to get Tree
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
