The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In classic sudoku, the objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with digits so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 subgrids that compose the grid contains all of the digits from 1 to 9.
- The puzzle setter provides a partially completed grid, which, for a well-posed puzzle, has a single solution.
- Although single-digit numbers are conventionally used as the nine symbols in the puzzle, the puzzle would be the same if other symbols were used, as no calculations are applied to the numbers when solving a conventional sudoku puzzle.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Sudoku article was read about 560,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 70 and blocks with 66: each hit it takes is cut by 26 %.
How to get Sudoku
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
