The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Truth was born into slavery in Swartekill, New York, but escaped with her infant daughter to freedom in 1826.
- After going to court to recover her son in 1828, she became the first Black woman to win such a case against a white man.
- Bomefree gave herself the name Sojourner Truth in 1843 after she became convinced that God had called her to leave the city and go into the countryside "testifying to the hope that was in her." Her best-known speech was delivered extemporaneously, in 1851, at the Ohio Women's Convention in Akron, Ohio.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Sojourner Truth article was read about 330,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 85 and blocks with 92: each hit it takes is cut by 37 %.
