The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- At its core was the Allied naval blockade of Germany, announced the day after the declaration of war, and Germany's subsequent counterblockade.
- The campaign peaked from mid-1940 to the end of 1943.
- The Battle of the Atlantic pitted U-boats and other warships of the German Kriegsmarine and aircraft of the Luftwaffe against the Royal Navy, Royal Canadian Navy, United States Navy, and Allied merchant shipping.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Battle of the Atlantic article was read about 300,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 90 and blocks with 87: each hit it takes is cut by 35 %.
