The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Following the occupation of Dresden by Frederick the Great on 9 September 1756, the Saxon army under Frederick von Rutowski had withdrawn southeast and taken up position at the fortified camp of Pirna.
- The position was tactically strong, as the steep terrain, fortresses, and defensive works added protection, leaving Frederick with no option but to isolate and starve the Saxon army into surrendering.
- As a result, Frederick encircled the camp and blocked outside support.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Siege of Pirna article was read about 6,400 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 52 and blocks with 14: each hit it takes is cut by 6 %.
