The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The libretto by Gaetano Rossi is based on Voltaire's tragedy Semiramis, which in turn was based on the legend of Semiramis of Assyria.
- The opera was first performed at La Fenice in Venice on 3 February 1823.
- Semiramide was Rossini's final Italian opera and according to Richard Osborne, "could well be dubbed Tancredi Revisited".
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Semiramide article was read about 16,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 68 and blocks with 59: each hit it takes is cut by 24 %.
