The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It was notable for being a widespread and abundant ground cover in open, savanna-like ecosystems, especially in regions dominated by gymnosperms and early angiosperms.
- Ecologically, Ruffordia was quite similar to the modern Bracken fern, which also forms dense, clonal colonies across open habitats.
- Despite this similarity, it was closer phylogenetically to Schizaeales.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ruffordia article was read about 1,200 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 50 and blocks with 33: each hit it takes is cut by 13 %.
