The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- A robot can be guided by an external or internal control device.
- Robots may be humanoid, but most are task-performing machines prioritizing functionality over aesthetics.
- Robots can be autonomous or semi-autonomous and range from humanoids such as Honda's Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility and TOSY's TOSY Ping Pong Playing Robot to industrial robots, medical operating robots, patient assist robots, dog therapy robots, collectively programmed swarm robots, UAV drones such as General Atomics MQ-1 Predator, and even microscopic nanorobots.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Robot article was read about 340,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 90 and blocks with 79: each hit it takes is cut by 32 %.
How to get Robot
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
