The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He was a native of Covilhã in Beira.
- In his early life he had gone to Castile and entered the service of Don Juan de Guzmán, brother of Enrique de Guzmán, 2nd Duke of Medina Sidonia.
- Later, when war broke out between Castile and Portugal, he returned to his own country, and attached himself, first as a groom, then as a squire, to Afonso V of Portugal and his successor John II of Portugal.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Pêro da Covilhã article was read about 8,100 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 58 and blocks with 34: each hit it takes is cut by 14 %.
