The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It was one of the three major analogue colour television standards, the others being NTSC and SECAM.
- In most countries it was broadcast at 625 lines, 50 fields per second, and associated with CCIR analogue broadcast television systems B, D, G, H, I and K. The articles on analogue broadcast television systems further describe frame rates, image resolution, and audio modulation.
- PAL was developed by Walter Bruch at Telefunken in Hanover, West Germany, with important input from Gerhard Mahler.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The PAL article was read about 210,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 80 and blocks with 82: each hit it takes is cut by 33 %.
How to get PAL
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
