The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In 286 AD, Nicomedia became the eastern and most senior capital city of the Roman Empire, a status which the city maintained during the Tetrarchy system.
- The Tetrarchy ended with the Battle of Chrysopolis in 324 AD, when the western Roman emperor Constantine the Great defeated Licinius and became the sole emperor.
- In 330 AD, Constantine chose for himself the nearby Byzantium as the new capital of the Roman Empire.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Nicomedia article was read about 80,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 64 and blocks with 58: each hit it takes is cut by 23 %.
How to get Nicomedia
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
