The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It was discovered on 5 August 1826 by Scottish astronomer James Dunlop.
- It is one of the closest galaxies to the Local Group, and it most likely lies between the latter and the Sculptor Group.
- It is the brightest of the five main spirals in the direction of the Sculptor Group.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The NGC 300 article was read about 16,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 66 and blocks with 65: each hit it takes is cut by 26 %.
