The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It is named after Samuel Morse, one of several developers of the system.
- Morse's preliminary proposal for a telegraph code was replaced by an alphabet-based code developed by Alfred Vail, the engineer working with Morse.
- Vail's version was used for commercial telegraphy in North America.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Morse code article was read about 880,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 87 and blocks with 85: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
