The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- This causes new cartilage to develop from a so-called super-clot.
- The surgery is quick, minimally invasive, and can have a significantly shorter recovery time than an arthroplasty.
- Chronic articular cartilage defects do not heal spontaneously.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Microfracture surgery article was read about 14,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 62 and blocks with 37: each hit it takes is cut by 15 %.
