The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In an early engineering text, a machine is defined as follows: Every machine is constructed for the purpose of performing certain mechanical operations, each of which supposes the existence of two other things besides the machine in question, namely, a moving power, and an object subject to the operation, which may be termed the work to be done.
- Machines, in fact, are interposed between the power and the work, for the purpose of adapting the one to the other.
- In every fields, mechanization includes the use of hand tools.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Mechanization article was read about 12,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 65 and blocks with 55: each hit it takes is cut by 22 %.
How to get Mechanization
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
