The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He was the founder and first President-General of the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League, through which he declared himself Provisional President of Africa.
- Ideologically a black nationalist and Pan-Africanist, Garvey's ideas are known as Garveyism.
- Garvey was born to a moderately prosperous Afro-Jamaican family in Saint Ann's Bay and was apprenticed into the print trade as a teenager.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Marcus Garvey article was read about 510,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 91 and blocks with 95: each hit it takes is cut by 38 %.
