The facts on the card

- The regime he created lasted until 1974, making it one of the longest-lived authoritarian dictatorships in modern Europe.
- A political economy professor at the University of Coimbra, Salazar entered public life as finance minister with the support of President Óscar Carmona after the 28 May 1926 coup d'état.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The António de Oliveira Salazar article was read about 420,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 91 and blocks with 95: each hit it takes is cut by 38 %.
