The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Góngora and his lifelong rival, Francisco de Quevedo, are widely considered the most prominent Spanish poets of all time.
- His style is characterized by what was called culteranismo, also known as Gongorismo.
- This style apparently existed in stark contrast to Quevedo's conceptismo, though Quevedo was highly influenced by his older rival from whom he may have isolated "conceptismo" elements.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Luis de Góngora article was read about 18,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 66 and blocks with 42: each hit it takes is cut by 17 %.
