The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The book was regarded among his scholarly peers in Europe as the most authoritative treatise on the subject until the modern European exploration of Africa.
- For this work, Leo became a household name among European geographers.
- He converted from Islam to Christianity and changed his name to Johannes Leo de Medicis.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Leo Africanus article was read about 62,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 63 and blocks with 45: each hit it takes is cut by 18 %.
