Karakum Canal, a Common card

The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.

• Started in 1954, and completed in 1958, it is navigable over much of its 1,375-kilometre length, and carries 13 cubic kilometres of water annually from the Amu-Darya River across the Karakum Desert in Turkmenistan.
• The canal opened up huge new tracts of land to agriculture, especially to cotton monoculture heavily promoted by the Soviet Union, and supplying Ashgabat with a major source of water.
• The canal is also a major factor leading to the Aral Sea environmental disaster.

Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Karakum Canal article was read about 11,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 44 and blocks with 23: each hit it takes is cut by 9 %.

Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
