The facts on the card

The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.

Lister revolutionised the craft of surgery by the use of close anatomical observation, in the same manner that John Hunter revolutionised the science of surgery.
From a technical viewpoint, Lister was not an exceptional surgeon, but his research into bacteriology and infection in wounds revolutionised surgery throughout the world.
Lister's contributions were four-fold.

Why it is Uncommon

Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Joseph Lister article was read about 140,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 99 and blocks with 100: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
