The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Born in Kelston, Somerset, he became prominent at Queen Elizabeth I's court, and was known as her "saucy Godson", but his poetry and other writings caused him to fall in and out of favour with the Queen.
- He was the author of the description of a flush toilet forerunner installed in his Kelston house, which appeared in A New Discourse of a Stale Subject, called the Metamorphosis of Ajax, a political allegory and coded attack on the monarchy which is nowadays his best-known work.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The John Harington article was read about 140,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 63 and blocks with 39: each hit it takes is cut by 16 %.
