The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- After running his own highly successful school of architecture for many years, he was appointed Professor of Architecture at the Académie Royale d'Architecture in 1762, and his Cours d'architecture largely superseded a similarly titled book published in 1675 by his famous namesake, François Blondel, who had occupied the same post in the late 17th century.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Jacques-François Blondel article was read about 4,600 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 59 and blocks with 34: each hit it takes is cut by 14 %.
