The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The Inuit languages are part of the Eskaleut languages, also known as Inuit-Yupik-Unangan and as Eskimo–Aleut.
- Many individuals who would have historically been referred to as Eskimo, a controversial umbrella term that refers to groups of related Indigenous peoples, find that term offensive or forced upon them in a colonial way, Inuit is now a common autonym for a large sub-group of these people.
- The word Inuit, however, is an ancient self-referential to a group of peoples which includes at most the Iñupiat of Bering Strait coast of Chukotka and northern Alaska, the four broad groups of Inuit in Canada, and the Greenlandic Inuit.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Inuit article was read about 660,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 90 and blocks with 96: each hit it takes is cut by 38 %.
How to get Inuit
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
