The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Set in Venice and Cyprus, the play depicts the Moorish military commander Othello as he is manipulated by his ensign, Iago, into suspecting his wife Desdemona of infidelity.
- Othello is widely considered one of Shakespeare's greatest works and is usually classified among his major tragedies alongside Macbeth, King Lear, and Hamlet.
- Unpublished in the author's life, the play survives in one quarto edition from 1622 and in the First Folio.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Othello article was read about 650,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 86 and blocks with 100: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
