The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- His empire covered a large part of the Indian subcontinent, stretching from present-day Afghanistan in the west to present-day Bangladesh in the east, with its capital at Pataliputra.
- A patron of Buddhism, he is credited with an important role in the spread of Buddhism across ancient Asia.
- The Edicts of Ashoka state that during his eighth regnal year, he conquered Kalinga after a brutal war.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ashoka article was read about 720,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 91 and blocks with 95: each hit it takes is cut by 38 %.
