The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In 1607, English colonization began in present-day Virginia with Jamestown, which became the first permanent English settlement in North America.
- The Virginia Company colony was looking for gold and spices, and land to grow crops, however they would find no fortunes in the area, and struggled to maintain a food supply.
- The settlement survived the famine during the harsh winter of 1609, which forced colonists to eat leather from their clothes and boots, and resort to cannibalism.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The History of Virginia article was read about 28,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 93 and blocks with 80: each hit it takes is cut by 32 %.
